Barracuda Networks is currently looking for an entry-level Material Handler to join our Inventory Team. This individual will assist and maintain inventory levels, receive and accurately log inbound ordered merchandise, coordinate activities, and collaborate with other department employees to best support operations.

What you’ll be working on

• Performing duties as assigned by department Supervisor(s)
• Assisting delivery drivers with unloading and/or loading merchandise
• Receive ordered merchandise by checking each item for damage, correct quantities, backorders, etc., Stock and restock merchandise
• Handle paperwork involved in order receipts
• Record all inbound and outbound shipments into transaction log
• Cycle count to ensure inventory levels are accurate
• Receive returns into our Barracuda Order System (BOS)
• Help with physical inventory
• Keep track of items low in stock for re-ordering
• Studying parts catalogs, price books, and individualized instruction course
• Prepare materials needed for assembly line
• Keep assigned sections of work area clean and always organized
• Maintaining the appearance of the department and displays
• Work Hours: Full-time regular employment. Weekends and overtime may be required

What you bring to the role

• 0-4 yrs. of experience in warehousing/receiving
• High School Diploma or G.E.D
• Able to lift and maneuver between 10-75lb
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Able to stoop, bend, kneel, squat, and stand repetitively for 8 hours a day
• Ability to work independently but also collaborate with others

San Jose, CA only. The anticipated on-target earnings range for this role is $49,000 – $52,000. Actual compensation offered will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, and qualifications as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, the budget for the position, and applicable employment laws.
